Yogurl and I just celebrated our three year anniversary. We're such an old couple!

We went to Big Bear and stayed at a Bed and Breakfast.

It was really cool. I had to put snow chains on the tires when we were going up there because they had gotten several feet of snow the weekend before. Fortunately, we had bought tires ahead of time and I had played with them a little, so getting them on was no problem.

By time we came home, the roads were clear enough that we didn't need them anymore. The place we stayed was super cool. They had a great mid-week special price, so we were able to stay there way cheaper than normal. The owners were really cool, nice people who cooked breakfast for us themselves. We had a fireplace and a jacuzzi tub and a sweet log bedframe.

Yogurl didn't want to go skiing because she didn't want to fall down and hurt herself or the baby, so we went snowshoeing instead.

It turned out to be plenty tiring on fresh snow. As you can see, we got fairly warm hiking around, so I had to roll up the sleeves. I think it was in the mid 40s that day. We also went to the Big Bear zoo, which was pretty cool.

They had three great big grizzly bears that reminded me of my brothers, a beautiful snow leopard and some sleepy timber wolves. They also had a bald eagle with one wing and one eye. I think it would make a good symbol for the People's Republic of China. It was a decent little zoo.

Anyway, we had a great time and a happy anniversary.

Happy anniversary! Ooh, a fireplace right next to the tub! I'd never get out!
