We're Pregnant!

Well, so I'm not pregnant, but Yogurl is. This is the most recent photo of our beautiful baby! He/She will be born sometime around the first week of August. Hooray!

Furniture Upgrade

Check it out, Manburger and I have finally officially entered into the adult world of furniture. Just this week, we added two super classy (at least we think so) pieces to our front room. Our TV armoire, we found at a local thrift store. It was marked $225, but one of the employees saw us looking at it and said, "I'll give it to you for $80." We weren't about to pass up that deal. They even delivered it for us. Our computer armoire we found on Craigslist. It is the exact same model we looked at at some unfinished wood furniture places, but for less than 1/4 the price. Hooray! So we were finally able to get rid of our huge, ugly green desk and get something more discrete and attractive. Now the only other furniture we have to get is for the second bedroom in preparation for an upcoming arrival :)

Starting Out the New Year In Texas

Well, after coming back from Christmas break, I had to work a full day on Tuesday and then 4 hours on Wednesday. By then, I was ready for another 4 day weekend. Fortunately I work for the Take-A-Day-Off Corporation. It's sometimes called the federal government, but don't let that fool you. Since our flight left early New Year's Day, Yogurl and I celebrated Eastern time zone New Year's Day and then went to bed.
Austin was really cool. They have a burnt orange shirt law that requires every citizen to wear a UT shirt at least once a week. Yogurl's favorite part was probably the cowboy attire. Maybe one day she can buy a pair of $800 boots, but not anytime soon. I tried on a few cowboy hats, but this one here made me look more like Indiana Jones than a cowboy. It's hard to find hats when you have such a fat grape. One of my favorite parts was the animatronic LBJ at the presidential museum. Yogurl just reminded me that her other favorite part was the Whole Foods Mecca. She loves Whole Foods markets, and in Austin they have the mother of them all. If it were up to her, we probably would have eaten every meal there during our stay. Our most favorite part of all, though, was seeing the Petertammensons. Yogurl always misses her sisters when they aren't around, and she was super excited to see cute little Laurel again. One of my least favorite parts was diaper duty. Sure, I didn't change a diaper by myself, or at all for that matter, but I did distract Laurel while Luke changed her diaper, and that was pretty intense. Anyway, we had a great time. Happy New Year!

Christmas, a little late

Sorry it took so long to post, but we have been keeping busy the last few weeks. As you all probably know we went to Lancaster for Christmas. Hooray for the most beautiful place on Earth! We had a great time. We got to see some snow along the way, but all the snow in Lancaster had already melted by time we got there. We arrived around 6pm Christmas Eve. Just in time to eat dinner and then open presents. In my family we open presents Christmas eve and then Santa fills up the stockings during the night. I think my mom appreciated the book I got her this year more than the Danielle Steel book from two years ago. My little nephew was cute as can be, and like all good little kids was more interested in the wrapping paper than his gifts.
