End of Summer fun
Our weather here in Virginia is quickly approaching fall; we've had temps in the 60s the past few days. And for a pregnant lady, they couldn't come soon enough. I love feeling that cool breeze instead of the sticky heat.

I'm almost 32 weeks along now and doing fine. The urge to nest is just getting stronger every week and I'm trying to get little things done each week to satiate my organizing/buy new furniture desires. I can't believe it's only two months (give or take a couple of weeks) till our little guy arrives. It'll be here before we know it...yikes.. which means I really need to get going on some of those things on my to-do list!
Here are some pictures of our sweet girl enjoying herself at a local park for a friend's birthday party.
Probably the last time it'll be warm enough for the water park for a long time. She loves the water and tells us about Aunt Jenn's pool and the crocodile pool at Oma's house frequently.

Settling Back in to Cville
First off, here is a picture of me at almost 30 weeks along in my pregnancy. I know I don't look that pregnant, but I certainly feel way more pregnant than I look. No crazy cravings besides really liking chocolate and being very happy about the spinach ricotta pizza that we ordered for dinner last night.
Yesterday, we took our first family field trip since getting back to Cville and went up to a "Taste of the Mountains" festival up in Madison, VA. We enjoyed the small town feel, the stands of fried food, the fun rural Virginia accents, and the neat wares for sale. We got our sweetheart a neat wooden crocodile pull-toy after the man running the stand was so nice as to give her a little wooden car just because. I also found two beautiful fused glassed pendants from a very talkative vendor from Austin, TX. We ate some fried fish, bought some homemade whoopie pies, and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and were home by naptime.
I also have tried to use some more of my homemaking skills recently and bought fabric to cover the pillows that came with our new couch. They were super easy to make and I had them made a day after I bought the fabric.
Manburger likes his new classes so far and enjoys his walk to school, since we finally live close enough for him to do that. I think his biggest stressor so far hasn't been any of his classes, but the multitude of callback interviews and subsequent flights he has to take in the next few weeks. Trying to fit those in while still having classes has been a challenge, but in a few weeks those will be over and we can settle down to law school as usual. Well, except for the arrival of our son sometime in November. C'est la vie...
