Eleven years she has put up with me. That is a lot of me up with which to put. She has signed on for one more year with the option to extend after that. I better keep her happy so she sticks around for more.
We went to a restaurant called Knife which had good reviews, but wasn't as good as I had hoped. The okra side dish was actually amazing. The steak was good, but not worth what I paid for it. The company was incredible, though, so it was well worth it.
My wife loves fruit bouquets. I have bought them for her in the past, but I decided to try and make one myself this year. I think it turned out okay, but it was a lot more work than I thought it would be. Next year I think I will buy one again.
Clark went to Wee Wildcats this week, which is a program for kids who are going to be going to the local elementary school next year, or the year after. We think Clark is more than ready for kindergarten, and we know he is eager to start. He already has a friend, as you can see.
Eliza picture, just because.
Playing outside because we have been having weather in the mid 70's for most of February so far. What a treat. At times like this it is hard to remember why we want to move away from Dallas so bad June through September.
We ate at a drive in burger place and let the kids all sit in the back with the doors and windows open. We were all having a good time, rocking out to the soundtrack from Sing Street. My 80s music loving wife just can't get enough.
Here is a little video of Eliza playing b-ball. I lowered the hoop for her and she just thought it was fun to keep putting the ball through the hoop. Too bad she is our short one. At the start of the video she says "Hi" and waves because she heard the voice of a neighbor or somebody in the alley. Then when she realizes I am filming she makes her big cheesy grin. Hope you enjoy the video.
