More Clark

After posting yesterday that it was hard to get good pictures of Clark, he decided to start posing for us today!

  

Clark couldn't sit on the couch long before Sabrina wanted to sit next to him. He really seems to be enjoying this book. 

One last happy note. We don't own this house! Normally the thought of owning a house fills me with longing. Then a pipe breaks and water starts dripping down into your dining room and you are glad that somebody else has to fix it. Of course, our water is still shut off right now, so it isn't like we get off scot-free. What fun!

Just Some Cuteness

Sabrina has been really into working out recently. Yogurl bought her this pull-up bar for Christmas and she loves to use it. She is getting pretty ripped, as you can see. 

After working out, Sabrina loves to dive into an avocado-clementine-spinach-banana smoothie. Yummy!

Clark is hard to get good pictures of, but we figured a mediocre picture is better than none. He is growing fast. He has been feeling pretty sick the last couple days, so we hope he feels better soon.

Houston Trip

Here we are in front of the Houston Temple. That's right, we took a trip down there during my extended Christmas break to see Yogurl's sister before she moves down under. I don't mean into her basement either (they don't have basements in Houston), I mean Australia! Crikey! We are so glad we got to go see them before they leave. Though at the rate their travel arrangements are being handled, we might see them again when we move there this summer. For their sanity's sake, let's hope not.

The weather in Houston was so beautiful in January that we went and played at the park and had a picnic! I hear that the weather is just as nice in the summer! 

Yes, I am a sucker for these things. Most people think they are dorky, so please forgive me. 

One of the best things about hanging out with lots of young kids is feeling like you are the greatest book reader to ever live. It is so nice to feel special. 

Sabrina got all dressed up with the help of her cousin Lydia. We took about 50 pictures of her in this outfit and this is the only one where she wasn't jumping or turning or making some sort of monster face. I would blame it on being 2, but I don't pose well for pictures, either. 

I think Sabrina loves her cousin. I think Lydia was happier than she looks in this picture. 

Hooray for the Johnson family tolerating us for a week while we came to visit! We hope they have a swift safe move and a wonderful time in Australia!

Baby Blessing

Clark was blessed in church yesterday, and Yogurl's parents were able to come to town to be there for it. It was wonderful having them here.

Sabrina sure loves spending time with her little brother. She'll often get a blanket so she can have tummy time next to him. Here she just wanted to be near him. So cute we thought a picture was needed.

This picture is a reminder of why you don't ask a 2 year old to go get you a tissue.
