Sabrina off to school for her last day of first grade! Clark is in a much better mood than on her first day. Clark didn't get to go to his last day of pre-school because he was sick. Poor guy. He is feeling fine now.
This was Sabrina's teacher. She was so great! Sabrina had a terrific year of school.
Sabrina has been wanting to have bangs, so her momma obliged her now that she is a big first grade graduate. Sabrina loves them.
A key lime meringue pie, just because. Delicious! I realize for some of you yummy homemade pies might be a regular thing, but here in hippy-ville, this is a rare decadence worth documenting.
Hooray for tomatoes from the garden! This has been my most successful gardening year by a long shot. We have probably gotten 8 of these Mr. Stripey tomatoes and an equal number of cucumbers. So many more on the vine that should be ready soon.
So my three corn plants only produced these three ears of corn, and they were kind of small, but they were very tasty, in my opinion. Of course they might be very tasty to me the same way all parents think their children are beautiful. Fortunately, my children actually are.

Great way to end a school year - fresh garden fare and a great pie. Sabrina will still be able to see her teacher around school next year. Love Opa.
