Austin

We decided to go up to Austin for President's Day Weekend again and we had lots of fun. I chose a Comfort Inn because it was affordable, had an indoor pool, and will help us get a Southwest Companion Pass. My wife thought I should have focused on a nice hotel not next door to a sports cantina. Mars and Venus, I guess. We all still had a lot of fun.
We took the kids to a place that does tea service for kids. They both loved it. Tea sandwiches, cookies, fruit and scones with jam. The teas were Coconut Banana Bliss and Chocolate Strawberry Love. The parents enjoyed drinking the kids' tea also. My croque madame was very very yummy also.
We went to Kiddie Acres, which is a very small amusement park geared towards young kids. It basically has 6 rides that are all old rides from county fairs. The kids both loved it.
Pony ride at Kiddie Acres. Clark looks like a born cowboy when he rides a pony

This is funny. We took this picture because it says "Eliza Spring." Just now I realized that she is breastfeeding next to a sign that says "Returning Eliza to a more natural stare." Come on, that's funny.
This is Barton Spring, a natural spring fed pool that is 68 degrees year round. In theory. Yogurl says it was pretty cold when she swam in it. She was the only one who got to swim in it, since the kids didn't want to swim. That seemed fair since I swam each day in the hotel pool with the kids while she put the baby to bed.

Hooray for making memories and taking the little ones places they will remember. They grow so quickly. Love you all, Opa
