Mimi Visit!

Mimi came down to visit us for a week! Clark wasn't sure about her for the first day or two. Then they found this bear book at Half Price Books. Suddenly Mimi and her hand puppet bear became Clark's favorite people around. They spent quite a bit of time exactly like in this picture. There was a humorous moment at the store when Clark asked Mimi a question about the bear's anatomy in order to confirm that the bear was a boy. Clark is loud enough that I heard him clearly from a short distance away.  He often asks that particular question.

Impromptu family photo on a bridge at one of our favorite parks. The kids smile much better when Mimi is taking a picture than when we are taking it. 

 For New Year's Eve we went to a party at a friend's house. They had requested formal attire, so we glammed up. Well, one of us glammed it up and I put on a suit.

 I also dressed up a little to go out for a pork chop lunch at Perry's with my mom. I think it is delicious, and my mom seemed to enjoy it, too.

We also brought one home for Yogurl, since she hasn't gotten a chance to get to Perry's yet.

We don't have more pictures of doing exciting things with Mimi since the weather was pretty bad when she was here. So mostly we stayed in and read books and just enjoyed having her visit. We can't wait to see her again!
