We don't live close to a good donut place anymore, so we bought a donut pan and made our own.
Sabrina said they were even better than ones we buy at a donut shop. I can tell you that this statement is objectively false. They were quite good, though.
As a side note, we finally found a babysitter from the ward who lives down the street. The kids had lots of fun with her babysitting, and we enjoyed getting out on a date. Sabrina also gave us a through report about her. She said "Lots of calls kept coming in for her. She ignored most of them, and only answered a few." "She said she gets lots of phone calls because she is cool." It is very cute to hear a 4 year old report about a teenage girl's activities.

We used to make donuts a lot when Oma and I were dating, and then when we were first married. Haven't done them in years. Maybe a good idea for a good Jly activity. Love Opa
