Here is Mr. Snowman, since nobody else on the street had figured out how to make one yet, ALOT of people took pictures of our famous friend.
15th anniversary cake, the numbers on top are made from melted white chocolate. Mommy made the cake, Clark and Eliza decorated the sides, I made the 15 on the top( which slightly looks like an "is"), and of course, Daddy ate it( along with the rest of us).
before the snow was soft enough to make a snow man, it was very powdery at first, we clumped snow together on the ground, and made a snow man. She was christened "sleeping beauty", and lived until some neighborhood boys stabbed her with sticks. R.I.P.
This is what Kroger looked like when me and daddy went on a shopping trip, no bread in the bread isle, no dairy in the dairy isle, and definitely no eggs in the eggs section. I guess a record low in weather, rolling black outs, food shortages, water being contaminated, icy roads, and frozen pipes can do that to our populace.
Look at that beautiful snow, coating everything. For the younger two, this was the first snow they had seen that could be remembered.
It took daddy along time to make these homemade vent covers, and he was very proud of them, I guess they did their job, because neighbors all around us had frozen pipes, and we were fine.

Wow!! Great snow and the weather really hit home the need for food storage. What fun for the children and what a great lesson. Good job on the crawl space vent covers Patrick.
