Run the Highlands

The kids wanted to do the Run the Highlands again this year. We had a good time, even if we didn't go very fast. I mean really not very fast.
After the fun run was done, they had lots of other fun stuff. Petting zoo, pony rides, cool glitter painting on the kids' arms, popcorn, cotton candy, and more. Oh boy! Plus since it was supposed to be realliy rainy that morning, I think a lot of people decided not to come so the lines were much shorter than last year.
I'll let you guess who got which painting.
I guess Clark is making a Popeye face because cotton candy is his spinach.
Sabrina had a spirit week type of thing at school where they dressed up differently each day. This was her retro workout day. I thought her outfit turned out pretty good, but she didn't want to leave the house looking so nerdy.
Clark thought it would be fun to get wrapped up in tape one day. Until he couldn't get out. I let him struggle for a while before we helped him out. It builds character or something.
This was the "house" the kids built out of lawn chairs, door mats and a stroller rain cover. I really didn't think it looked that comfortable, but Eliza pointed out the chairs and kept saying "ouse" the next day, so I guess she enjoyed it. So nice when kids entertain each other so well.

I like the arm paintings - a Unicorn for Isaac and a dinosaur for Sabrina? Not. What fun. Opa
