On Yogurl's birthday, she went with the kids to a Fancy Nancy Bonjour Butterfly teaparty at the butterfly house in Dallas. Everybody had a lot of fun and got to see a lot of beautiful butterflies.
For this year's July birthdays Sabrina and Yogurl decided that pie would be better than cake. We had a problem with birthday candles at the last minute. So we decided that putting 14 on half of Yogurl's pie would be good enough.
We all had crowns special made for Sabrina's birthday.
Sabrina was so happy to open gifts. Her birthday was on Sunday, and she was sad that we she didn't get to go anywhere special on her birthday, but presents and pie seemed to erase her sadness. She also had her specially requested birthday meal of pigs in a blanket, corn on the cob and broccoli.
Sabrina went through a variety of pie ideas before deciding that she wanted a chocolate pie with marshmallows on top. The marshmallows were briefly broiled in an attempt to make into some sort of s'more pie. It was really tasty.
