We are in Ohio for the month, and then on to Dallas. Now that we have left Virginia, though, we decided that it was time for some University of Virginia Blue and Orange color coordination. And yes, that is a bow-tie. I hope my brothers will still talk to me. We took this picture by ourselves and our battery died, so yes this is the best photo we could get.
Just a picture of the kids struggling to entertain themselves in our empty place after we were all packed up. We used the U-Haul equivalent of Pods. It was substantially cheaper, but vastly inferior. I would still choose them again because of the steep discount, though. (I'm so cheap!)
Clark went round the mulberry bush on a cold and frosty morning with his mommy. While she picked some off the trees, Clark found a bunch on the ground and either ate them or just smeared them around on his face.
One last long look at the bow-tie. This is only the second time I have worn one (I think the only other time was at prom), and the first time I have ever tied one (thank you YouTube!). I think that it turned out well. It is super weird to look down while wearing a tie and see all your buttons, though. Brother Neal said "I like your tie," as we walked in to church. I looked around to see who he was talking to and realizing that it had to be me, but feeling that my delay was sufficient to cause my response to become awkward, I just mumbled "Thanks." I guess wearing a bow-tie doesn't make me any suaver.
