More Houston Fun

These two kids love each other so much.
Sabrina and her friend from church, Brinley.
It's hard work learning to roller-skate and pushing around a baby in a stroller. Try smiling at the camera at the same time, and it can get pretty rough.

We went to the Houston Aquarium where we saw lots of fish, and a white tiger for some reason. This is the petting area, but they also have a spot you can crawl underneath and look in from below. How neat.

Sabrina ready to go down into the depths.
There was a train that took you through a shark tank. It was cool - but the coolest shark they had wasn't a shark - it was a sawfish! They also had a phony Great White Shark that popped up later on the train ride. It had red paint dripping form its mouth and Sabrina seemed really fascinated by this. That night when we were getting ready to say prayers I asked her what she was grateful for and she said, "We got to see a bloody shark." Well, okay.
This is on the ferris wheel at the aquarium. I was hoping to get more of the downtown skyline in, but failed.
Sabrina got a new doll that she loves very much. She named her "Pants-less Dragon." I was happy to go along, but her mommy decided that we shouldn't encourage that name and wait until she comes up with a new one.
I decided that I was tired of dressing the way "the man" wanted me to dress, so I went ahead and started dressing the way I thought was cool. It didn't go over too well.

Don't get into a limo with a strange driver who may be wearing flesh colored earplugs. Watch out for signs touting "The return of Calderone". If things get too intense, Tubbs and Elvis are probably waiting behind the door to your rear. Ha. Great Miami Beach look, but you can't wear socks with your shoes.
Great pictures of the children. Love you all, Opa

Ha ha, pantsless dragon is so funny! It was great reading about all the fun things you're doing this summer and I'm glad you're enjoying it so much! I just read on the Skidmores blog that she went to the museum with her friend Laura. Then I read your blog about the museum and thought, "Oh Sara and Laura should have gone together...oh wait." Ha ha. Wish we were going to be with you guys another year, but yay for being 3Ls! (And yay for graduating, too.)
