We discovered this beautiful luna moth next to our porch light one morning this week. He stayed in place all day and was still there when we locked up for the night. The next morning though, he was gone. I can't remember seeing a luna moth since I was a very little girl and my family was living in Norfolk, Virginia. Apparently the luna moth only lives for about a week, so it was neat to enjoy it for a day in its short life.
