That's right, my 51 days of unused vacation, or "terminal leave" as we call it, are over.

I am now just a nasty civilian again. We have mostly been hanging out with Yogurl's parents, trying not to be in the way. They sometimes give us jobs to do, which is nice since it lets us feel useful for a little while. Okay, it lets me feel useful. Yogurl is taking care of a baby, so she is always useful.

The most excitement we had this month was going to St Louis to visit while Mike was gone on business. We figured a pregnant lady with two kids could use some help. Yogurl and her sister drove around to different bakeries in an effort to find the best birthday cake. Their grandmother is turning 90 soon, and they want to make sure she has the yummiest cake possible. I got to cut Isaac's hair, help with kite flying

(though Isaac didn't do much flying, just running briefly and then tripping and throwing the spool) pillow fighting, playing elephant/rhino/horsey, reading books, dancing to the Wiggles and playing dodgeball.

It was lots of fun, but I definitely have a new level of respect for mothers.
