A Day in the Park
Well, I had to head down to the Naval Hospital in San Diego this week (it's the big one where all the specialists are). Since my appointment was scheduled at a point where it would make it pointless for me to try to return to work afterward, Yogurl and Sabrina came with me. The Hospital is in Balboa Park, which is a beautiful area.
After the doctor we took a stroll near where Sabrina was born, including a walk through the park where Yogurl was having contractions, hoping to become dilated enough to be admitted to the birthing center. It was an emotional place for me, I can only imagine the memories and feelings Yogurl was experiencing. Then we went and ate at Hash House a Go-Go. We had seen it on one of my favorite shows--Man V. Food.
Yogurl's food was good, but mine was awesome. I had the Sage Fried Chicken Benedict. It was a giant biscuit with griddled mashed potatoes, fried chicken, eggs, bacon and grilled cheese covered in chipotle cream sauce. Awesome.
Then we went and toured the Balboa park museum area, which was really nice. This is a picture of the Museum of Man. After that came the highlight of the day for Yogurl.
We got cupcakes at a place called Cupcakes Squared. They were the best cupcakes ever, without a doubt. They make Sprinkles cupcakes look like those yellow Hostess cupcakes that only Amanda likes.
After we got home Sabrina kept trying to get into the basket where we keep her toys, so I helped her climb on in.

What??!! Even better than Sprinkles! Must get there! Luke wants to know if Patrick finished his food, and I can just see Laura shaking her head at what you ordered.
She actually insisted that I order it when I contemplated getting something else, and yes, of course I finished it.
I like the orange hostess cupcakes too! But man, those are some divine lookin cupcakes!
And can I say I'm super jealous of you guys hangin out in short sleeved shirts in the sun!! Boo hoo! A good day here is 36!
