Vacationing Visitors

We've had all sorts of visitors. Well, actually just a few. But important ones. Earlier in the month, Yogurl's parents came to visit us. It was lots of fun. We went to the beach and to the temple and we drove go-karts around. Yogurl didn't exactly have the killer instinct on the go-karts, but she did much better than the last time she drove one. Apparently last time she ended up just crying and not getting anywhere. Of course she was only 7, so we will cut her some slack. We also went and ate an Armenian restaurant where they had live belly-dancing. We don't have any pictures of that, but I think the folks do if you are interested. It was a great visit, and we were sure happy to see them.
Then I had my birthday. The big 2-4. Can you believe it? I am so old. I told Yogurl not to bother making me a cake, because I was putting on too much weight and didn't need the extra junk. Of course, she still tried to whip something up out of nothing. Nobody is perfect however. Not even Yogurl can make something yummy every time she cooks, and this was proof. She seemed to enjoy it, however, so she ate both of our servings.
Just last week, my brother and his wife came and brought their little baby boy. He is so cute. It was really fun to have them around. They didn't stay for very long, so we hope they come back soon and spend some more time with us.
If you haven't seen Spider-man 3 yet, you're wrong. You need to go and see it. It was sweet. I won't spoil it for anybody who hasn't seen it yet.
One last thing. Yogurl and I went to this place called Henry's Market because they said they were having a big Cinco de Mayo party. You know what they had to celebrate when we got there? Two free samples of tortilla chips. Wow. Great party guys. Yogurl and I went to a Mexican restaurant later to make up for the lack of festivity at Henry's.
That's it for now!

We're totally curious - what was that pinky stuff that Laura ate two servings of for Manburger's birthday? BTW Happy Birthday Manburger!!!

It was a strange custardy, chocolate concoction with strawberry yogurt on top. I know, only I would think that combo would be yummy. Hey, at least it was healthy. But I wouldn't make it again either.
