Yogurl and I have decided to start a tradition of putting up our Christmas tree for FHE the first Monday after Thanksgiving. An important part of this tradition is drinking egg nog. Since egg nog is really unhealthy, we made some phony egg nog. It has egg substitute, protein powder, nutmeg, rum extract and sugar-free vanilla pudding mix. Believe it or not, it was really good. Not as good as the real stuff, but significantly less bad for you.
Here I am assembling the Christmas tree. It was really easy. You just stuck the main part into the stand and then peeled down the branches so that it fluffed out like a real tree.
Et voila! Our phony little tree. We really like it a lot. It's four feet tall and it has fiber optic cables runing through it that light up different colors all through the tree and constantly change. It is really cool! We don't have ornaments yet, just a cheap string of beads we bought at the dollar store. It'll get better.
