Lots of excitement

Here's me living up to my namesake by making YOGURT! Manburger and I got a gift certificate for test driving a Hyundai (sweet deal, huh?) so I got the yogurt maker and he bought himself the set of X-Men DVDs. My yogurt turned out tasty. And it's not too hard either, just heat the milk and dry milk, let cool, add starter, and place in yogurt maker for a few hours and ...it's yogurt!

Here's Manburger pretending to be truck driver on moving day. He did a great job loading and driving the truck. He definitely gets brownie points for making this move a lot more fun than I thought it would be. What a husband!!

This past weekend we went up to Santa Clarita to visit Manburger's best friend from high school. That's Bryce and his fiance, Rebeckah, in the photo with us. We had a great time and Bryce and Manburger really enjoyed themselves eating Nana's famous banana cake.
Isn't this a beautiful picture? It was kind of cloudy the day I took the picture, but this is what we see when we walk the 1.5 blocks to beach at sunset. Is it any wonder we chose this place over living in the desert?
The funny little dark spots in the water are surfers. No doubt this is California.
